Pike Central Trumps Boyd County 19-9

After a night of loose ball handling by Pike Central they manage to gain the advantage over the Boyd County Lions. An early FG by the Lions gave the Hawks the motivation they needed to claim the game. Coach Cal comes to Pikeville

Coach Calaperi of the University of Kentucky Wildcats visited the East KY Expo Center thursday as one of the first stops on his book tour. When speaking before the signing he mentioned it only took him about ten days to write the majority of the book.

This weeks game-of-the-week Pike Central v Boyd County

The first game-of-the-week for EKN is a match-up between Pike County Central and Boyd County. When these two teams last faced each other the result was unpleasant for the Pike County Hawks, a 15-39 loss. Will this year’s contest come with the same result? It may still be too early to tell.
